Wedding experience & owl ring delivery
Make your special day unique and memorable, adding a magic touch by having your wedding rings delivered by one of our Barn Owls.
They will fly down the aisle to the gloved hand of the Best Man or appointed person, safely delivering your rings. They will then fly back to the falconer and your ceremony will continue.
Your special guest will then be available afterwards for photographs and to meet the rest of your wedding party.
We can also offer tailor made packages to make your day truly unique to you. This could include a variety of other owls to be available to meet and greet your guests, offer handling opportunities and displays.

Hi, I'm Clare
THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE MAGIC
I started training birds of prey at the age of 9 years and have since trained and flown Owls, Hawks, Falcons and Eagles.
My parents opened a Falconry Centre in West Sussex which I was involved in the running of. This included training and flying Birds of Prey for the public in displays, rehabilitation of sick and injured birds of prey, breeding and rearing and also teaching Falconry.
When my parents retired and sold the business, I set up CSR Falconry with the help of my husband. CSR Falconry is very much a family business as my husband, Paul, and daughters are all involved with the birds and will assist at weddings and events.
The owls are very much a part of our family and have all been hand reared by me from the very first week of their lives. The owls health and wellbeing is of paramount importance to us at all times.
I am Fully Licenced and hold the required Animal Activities Licence and am fully insured.
Meet the Team
THE BIRDS BEHIND THE MAGIC
Luna
Male Barn Owl hatched in 2015 and joined us at 3 days old. He's one of our Ring Bearers. I often refer to as "the main man", he's the eldest of our owls as well as the most experienced Ring Bearer. He's very nosey and won't let himself miss anything that's going on around him!
Willow
Female Barn Owl and another of our Ring Bearers. Willow is Luna's younger sister, and our other Ring Bearer, she came to us at 5 days old in 2016. She's more chilled than her brother and will happily watch the world go by. She likes to dig and play in the garden when at home.
Inka
Inka is a female African Spotted Eagle Owl that hatched in April 2017 and joined us at just 7 days of age. Inka is the largest of all of our owls but is very gentle and loves to snuggle into us for a good cuddle. Just try to not get lost in those beautiful eyes!
Teddy
Teddy is a male Tawny Owl that hatched in May 2017 and has been with us since he was 2 days old. Teddy is a total 'baby' and really should have been a duck with the amount of time he likes to spend in the bath!
Otto
Otto is a male Southern white Faced Scops Owl who joined us at 6 days old in 2021. Otto weighs just 6oz and is the smallest owl we have. He's a sweet gentle little boy who loves to hold our finger in his beak like a dummy!

CSR falconry is still one of the most talked about aspects of our wedding day. The team and Luna and Echo made for a big surprise when our rings were flown down the aisle, a secret we had kept from our guests until then. Then the chance to include the owls in our photos as well as entertaining our guests whilst we were busy getting family and group photos meant that everyone was grinning from ear to ear the whole time.
